How to Play

Single-Player Teams

Preparation

You'll need at least 3 people to play. Make sure you all know how to switch between the game and your favorite music app. Also, it's more fun with a bluetooth speaker, for that extra bang!

Steps

1. Set Up Players

Open settings and set up each player as a team.

2. Pick A Song

A player holds the phone when it's their turn. Start playing a song, switch back to the game and confirm the guessing has started.

3. Guess The Song or Artist

Other players try to guess the song or artist they hear, as fast as they can. First correct guess wins! The player who picked the song is the judge, pressing the winning team's button when they are satisfied with the guess.

4. Earn Points

The person who guessed correctly earns 2 points. The song picker earns 1 point, but only if someone guessed the song in time!

5. Keep Playing

Players take turns picking songs until everyone has gone. Play as many rounds as you like!

Multi-Player Teams

Preparation

Split the players into teams. You'll need at least 3 teams to play. You'll need a common room, and a separate room where one team can secretly pick a song. Finally, you'll want a bluetooth speaker in the common room, with plenty of bang!

You can play with one phone or two. For a large crowd, it is easiest to play with a dedicated scorekeeper and two phones, using one phone for the game and one to play music. But you can also easily play with one phone and no scorekeeper. Find your groove by trying it out.

Steps

1. Form Teams

Open settings and set up team names. Customize other settings as desired.

2. Pick A Song

When your team's turn begins, gather in the secret room, pick a song, and play it to the speaker in the common room.

3. Guess The Song or Artist

Once the song is playing, all other teams can guess! Tap the winning team's button when someone guesses correctly.

4. Earn Points

The person who guessed correctly earns 2 points. The song picker earns 1 point, but only if someone guessed the song in time!

5. Keep Playing

Teams take turns picking songs until everyone has gone. Play as many rounds as you like!

Tips

Pick a song that you don't think the winning team will know... but someone on the losing teams might!
During gameplay, when it's time to play songs, the game can automatically open the music app of your choice (Spotify or Apple Music) - configure it in the app settings if that's what you'd like.
If someone volunteers to be a scorekeeper with a separate phone for music, they can run the entire game from the common room. No need to pass the game phone around!
Use Adjust Scores to change scores manually if needed.
